It’s possible that they were reeling after about a decade of being whooped in some way or another by Michael Jordan and his Chicago Bulls. An early example of MJ’s Hawk-taming came on April 16, 1987 when he crushed the A for 61 at the end of the regular season. Here’s the fat tongued Air Jordan 1 Phat Premier 60+ Points Collection release that commemorates that day. Rich black leather in a mix of stretched full grain and a lightly tumbled overlay looks nice with yellow stitching.
